BRIGANTINE JOSEPH ALBINO -

26 passengers from the Cape of Good Hope and King George Sound 27/9/1846

This fine craft, belonging to our respected fellow-colonist, Captain Finnis, has brought probably the last cargo of Cape Wine that will be received in this colony, so long as the proposed obnoxious tariff shall subsist. Captain Finnis’s voyage has been rather rough, and the Joseph Albino sprung her main-mast off St Paul’s, which we understand, will prevent her proceeding, as was intended, to Pt Phillip. The cargo for that port is being transhipped, without delay, on board the Coquette, which sails on Sunday. SA Gazette 3/10/1846 p154.
