Perhaps a daughter of John Barr and Eliza nee ?, who came to SA from perhaps Scotland via New Zealand by 1856. Had perhaps at least two daughters – Elizabeth Lindsay Barr (Mrs William Windsor) and Jessie (Mrs John Innes Wishart) –(21/12/1838-15/12/1916) Born Glasgow, Co Lanark, Scotland. Died Lipson SA. m 6/3/1856 Groom’s father Alexander Wishart residence near Angaston.
