Located alongside the Haw river, Indian Valley Golf Course is an affordable municipal course located in the city of Burlington. Indian Valley features newly renovated greens with Bermuda grass. Although, Indian Valley is not a country club, but rather a municipal course. It employs a small yet friendly staff that operates a pro shop, bar, and other practice facilities. Rates at Indian Valley are very affordable and promotional discounts are always available as well as student rates.  However, Indian Valley presents a challenging layout, making it hard to maintain. The course requires a plethora of different shot making abilities. For Elon University students, the course is less than 10 minutes off campus. Many students can attest that Indian Valley is a worthy a trip if transportation is provided.
