Archer H. Christian is former development director for the Ecology Center and serves on the Ann Arbor greenbelt advisory commission (GAC).

When appointed, she was development director for the Ecology Center, filling GAC's position for a representative from an environmental/conservation organization. She had worked at the Ecology Center since 2008, first as grants director and then as development director.

In 2013 she left the Ecology Center to pursue a degree from the Vermont Law School Master of Environmental Law and Policy program, but remained on GAC and commuted from Ann Arbor.

Prior to her work at the Ecology Center, she was executive director of the Southern Sustainable Agriculture Working Group. She has a bachelors degree in environmental science from Vanderbilt University, and a masters degree in crop & soil environmental science from Virginia Tech.

Christian is married to Carol Anderson, a consultant and executive coach. The couple lives in Scio Township.
