It appears that half of the 2008 Ann Arbor City Council will effectively be elected in the August 7, 2007 primary, as all known candidates are running as Democrats.

• Second Ward: Stephen Rapundalo (inc.)
• Third Ward: Leigh Greden v. LuAnn Bullington (inc.)
  • Winner Leigh Greden, 63%
• Fourth Ward: Marcia Higgins (inc.)
• Fifth Ward: Wendy Woods (inc.) v. Mike Anglin - Anglin is getting a lot of blog-press on AAiO and ArborUpdate for taking a hard, and questionably informed, anti-development tack.
