Barbara Littlefield operated Dexter Bridal and Formal Wear for roughly nine months before it was closed by court order amid accusations of fiscal mismanagement and a criminal investigation. Littlefield, who also goes by the name Barbara Karen Herrington, surrendered to authorities in Maryland Wednesday to face 59 counts of fraud and felony theft uncovered in a 14-month investigation, said Carroll County Sheriff's Lt. Phil Kasten.
