Barracuda Networks opened an Ann Arbor office in 2007, led by Sean Heiney, VP of Strategic Initiatives. By mid-2012, they had over 200 employees in their space on Depot Street. They chose to move to the former Borders office space on Maynard Street, supported by about $61,000 in municipal tax abatements and $1.2 million in state incentives.
The financing is contingent on continuing their meteoric growth and hiring an additional 144 employees in Ann Arbor by the end of 2014. Job postings can be found on their website.
The company is headquartered in Campbell, CA, and has offices all over the world.
