Buhr Park features an open air ice rink, a six-lane, 25 yard pool with a deep well and a separate 0" depth entry children's wading pool with interactive play toys. Buhr Park also features 39 acres of rolling hills, picnic areas with grills, a children's play area, softball diamonds, soccer fields and outdoor tennis courts.

The north end of the park merges into Allen Elementary School's grounds.

It's also the location of the Buhr Park Children's Wet Meadow Project.

Urban Edibles

The Buhr Park Children's Wet Meadow Project has started a Food Forest, located on the north end of the parking lot – the south end of Wet Meadow 3. The Food Forest includes raspberries, grapes, apple and pear trees, nut trees and other edibles.
