Climax Molybdenum Company of Michigan had an office at 1600 Huron Parkway in Ann Arbor. Mr. George Timmons was listed as administrative manager for research and development in 1971.

After the closing of the Climax (AMAX) research facility in 1987, we acquired Climax’s entire SSC testing laboratory, along with much of the laboratory’s machining, heat-treating, mechanical testing, and metallographic equipment, and library materials, all of which now constitute OMNI Metals Laboratory, Inc., and moved it to OMNI’s new building.
