The Grange Junior Makers is a hobbyist group for kids that meets every third Saturday from 10am-2pm at the PIttsfield Grange.  The aim of the group is to encourage tinkering by using tools to build projects.  Projects are generally practical things that can be used around the house (window gardens, boot trees, vertical grow stations, etc) but are sometimes just for fun (kites, stomp rockets, electric airplane launchers).  Members have built projects for display at venues like the Detroit Maker Faire and the Ann Arbor Mini Maker Faire.  Admission is free.
