Lumbard v. City of Ann Arbor is a class action lawsuit filed in 2015 for damages related to the city's Footing Drain Disconnect program. This class action makes claims very similar to the allegations in Lawsuit: Yu v. City of Ann Arbor.

In essence, the complaint alleges that the City of Ann Arbor violated the constitutional rights of residents when it compelled them to disconnect their footing drains from the waste water system, install a sump pump and connect that system to the storm water sewer.
