Nat (Nathalie) Elliot Edmunds (1927 - Dec. 22, 2017) was a long-standing citizen-activist in Ypsilanti, and is credited with:

• Mobilizing against the planned demolition of historic homes on North Huron Street in the early 1970s
• Helping create the Ypsilanti Historical Museum
• Serving on Ypsilanti City Council from 1972 to 1983
• Founding Ypsilanti Heritage Festival in the late 1970s
• Co-founding the Ypsilanti Heritage Foundation and Ypsilanti Historic District Commission
• Serving on the study committee to create the Ypsilanti Historic District
• Saving the "Octagon House" from demolition and moving it from its original location at 915 Washtenaw Ave. to its current location at 114 N. River Street 

Her husband, Dr. William P. Edmunds, was also active in Ypsilanti's historic preservation efforts.

The Nathalie "Nat" Edmunds collection is held at the Eastern Michigan University archives, and contains publications for the field of historic preservation; heritage tourism, and materials related to the preservation communities in Washtenaw County, specifically Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti collected by Edmunds.
