Established in 1934 to support low-income, single parent families during the Depression, Perry Nursery continues to provide affordable, high quality preschool for children, ages 2.5 through 6 years within Washtenaw County. Perry has been identified as the only private, nonprofit childcare center in the state of Michigan to exclusively target single parent families. Perry Nursery is state licensed and holds national accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC); a distinction shared by only 7% of the nation's preschool centers.
