At its Oct. 3, 2011 meeting, the Ann Arbor city council voted to establish an Energy Financing District and a Property Assessed Clean Energy program (PACE). The council had formally expressed its intention to establish an Energy Financing District and a PACE. The vote came after a formal public hearing.
