The Sponberg Theatre is located on the Eastern Michigan University campus in the Quirk Dramatic Arts Building. Built in 1984, it is named after Harold E. Sponberg who served as president from 1965-1974.
The intimate Sponberg Theatre is a 202-seat modified thrust stage which showcases faculty directed mainstage productions. The lighting system and the computrerized sound systems are recent enhancement for this theatre.
