W. W. Nichols (b. 1842, New York State) was a dentist and pomologist. He came to Ann Arbor in 1871 from Holland, MI after the Great Michigan Fire of 1871 consumed that city.

Nichols cultivated a fruit farm which had 56 acres of pear, apple, plum and peach trees, and was the secretary of the Washtenaw County Pomological Society at its inception in 1878.
