Description: The Alzheimer's Association is the national voluntary health agency dedicated to researching the prevention, cure and treatment of Alzheimer's disease and related disorders and to providing support and assistance to patients, their families and caregivers. We provide service through our 24/7 Helpline, offer community education programs, professional training, and coordinate support groups, as well as create care plans with a care navigator who is a licensed professional. Additionally, we are affiliated with Medic Alert Safe Return program and are involved with public policy and advocacy, plus we have a number of fund raising events such as 'Memory Walk' throughout the year.
