Description: AHSOME, A model railroad club and not for profit organization was founded on 1974. The club moved to its present location in 1997 and is in the process of constructing a new model railroad containing more than 8 scale miles (480ft.) of mainline track designed for operation using CTC/train order dispatched train control. In addition to the club railroad, approx. 38 club and privately owned 2'x4' modules are displayed at some model railroad shows. Other activities include a club family picnic in August and a dinner party in February. The philosophy of AHSOME is to provide means for each member, no matter what their skill level, a method to increase their knowledge and enjoyment of model railroading.
