Description: VOR is a national, non-profit 501 ( c ) ( 3 ) organization advocating for high quality care and human rights for all people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). VOR is dedicated to ensuring that people with I/DD and their families are able to access a full array of quality residential, employment and education services and support options. For more than 30 years, we have worked to improve the quality of life for all people with intellectual disabilities. VOR members include the family and friends of people with I/DD, professionals, organizations and corporations which support high quality care with adequate funding and legal options. VOR is governed by a volunteer board of directors and funded solely by dues and donations. We also have a strong network of volunteer state coordinators and national committees, and two dedicated full-time staff members.
