These tennis courts are pretty reliable if you are looking for a game as they always have an opening. There is a way of reserving a court as well (phone number?). After 7 the lights turn on but the courts in the middle receive considerably less. The courts definitely need to be resurfaced like the rest of Berkeley's roads and pavement but it is doable. The courts will start to smell like a diverse array of foods during peak eating times.
