Although it is not technially in Boise, it is a main hotspot for concerts in Boise area. The Idaho Center is located in Nampa. It was a part of Nampa’s Urban Renewal Agency’s plan to add economic value to the stagnant economy in north Nampa. It hosts a variety of events such as: the Professional Bull Riding (PBR), trade shows, sporting events, and concerts. Concerts are held in the 12,279-seat arena or in the outdoor amphitheater. The amphitheater has been host to the Van’s Warp Tour since the center opened in 1998.
