Roller derby is a sport that involves a flat track surface, usually roller skates, and athletes are awarded points.   There are "blockers" and other specialty positions involved in the sport of roller derby. The Treasure Valley Roller Girls  are Boise's league and they kick off their season home opener against Seattle and Portneuf Valley April 21st @ CenturyLink Arena
