The Canton DDA was organized by the Charter Township of Canton in 1984 and is governed by a Board of Directors comprised of the Township Supervisor and business owners and residents who have an interest in the DDA District.
The Canton DDA District generally includes properties along both the north and south sides of Ford Rd between the eastern boundary of the Township (just east of I-275) and a short distance west of Canton Center Rd.
The Board meets on the third Wednesday of each month at 8:00 a.m. in the Canton Township Administration Building. The morning meetings are open to the public, and the DDA Board encourages residents, business owners, property owners, and other interested parties to come, enjoy a cup of coffee, and learn more about DDA projects and activities. There is always an opportunity for citizen comment which is welcomed and appreciated.
