Purpose

Girl Scouts is the world's preeminent organization dedicated solely to the empowerment and growth of girls. Girl Scouts builds girls of courage, confidence, and character. Local Troops are a safe place for girls to grow and share new experiences, learn to relate to others, develop values and contribute to society. GSHVC offers dozens of activities for Girl Scouts and their families, including camping, the arts, environmental education and exploration of local cultural institutions.
