Delta Chi is a national fraternity that had a chapter at Chico, home to Chico State. The local chapter was established in 1985, 95 years after the founding of the national organization. The chapter was once a "Top House". In the near future it will be back stronger then ever endorsing brotherhood, and community events. Unlike some of the other greek chapters that have hurt people due to hazing and alcohol Delta Chi lost its charter due to academics but plans on returning in 2013. The Delta Chi house is located at 731 West 5th Street , on the corner of Fifth and Ivy.
