Rite Aid is a drugstore and pharmacy with two locations in Chico. The Mangrove location has a drive-through pharmacy as well as the usual in-person services. Both locations offer photo services as well as hand-scooped Thrifty ice cream. Rite Aid acquired Thifty and kept the Thrifty brand of ice cream. They also sell cartons of various flavors of Thrifty ice cream.

Rite Aid also accepts JC Penney credit cards as payment. Rite Aid merged with Eckerd. Eckerd used to be owned by JCPenney, thus Rite Aid inherited the ability to accept JCPenney credit cards.

Rite Aid offers a AAA discount on prescriptions.
