Tacos El Paisa

Known to the locals as "Pepe's," this family run taco truck serves some of the most inexpensive, delicious, and filling Mexican food in town. Decent sized vegetarian burrito can be had for $3.50 and comes with a paper plate and napkin (in a bag if to-go). They have cow tongue tacos if you're into that. Other meat options are typical of most taco tracks including beef, chicken, and pork. Beans are pintos.

Friendly service and a good location solidify Tacos El Paisa as a taco truck that you will likely visit more than once. You can quickly find cervezas next door at Ray's Liquor.

2008-10-17 21:55:17   Unless something tragic and horrible has just happened - the taco truck on 8th and Pine is Tacos El Paisa. It's not related to the one over on 2nd and Walnut, even though it has the same name... which is bizarre. Extremely good tacos, and I think the line you'll see throughout the day bears witness to that. I used to live just down the street, so this place used to be an almost daily ritual for lunch... $3 burrito with avocado and the rest? Slammin' deal. —JohnElias

2009-04-25 18:07:15   Good veggie burrito. Reasonably spicy salsa and reasonable amount of burrito for the price. Pretty flavorful but had a good amount of sodium for those salt-adverse. My burrito didn't fall apart while eating it — for once I could recycle the aluminum foil wrap. Nice. —RyanMikulovsky

2011-05-10 20:19:33   i personally think its the greatest place ever i even memorized their menu (burrito supreme-$4,veggie burrito-$3.50,nachos supreme-$3,nachos regular-$3,tacos$1,tortas-$3.50 comes with onions cilantro salsa but extras cost like 50 cents more) which is impressive or so i believe.um um well i just want to say that all the people who read this go there because i bet you'll have an excellent meal.=) —99.65.144.150
