The Creative Apple is an educational store located in the Almond Orchard in North Chico. They sell educational materials, such as bulletin board supplies, books to enhance learning - for the teacher and the parent, manipulatives, art supplies for children, and educational toys and games.

Being located next door to the Chico Cabaret, they also serve as the box office for the theater. During normal store hours, advance tickets can be bought for performances at a lower price than at the door on the night of the show. However, be aware that student discounts are not available when buying from the Creative Apple, and that the Cabaret's credit/debit card fee ($3.00) applies even when purchasing from the store.
