The Corvallis Environmental Center (CEC) is a 501c3 that was founded in 1994 as a grassroots effort to take action on a number of environmental issues.

They run a number of programs, including:

Avery House Nature Center

The mission of the Avery House Nature Center (AHNC) is to provide environmentally based programs designed to help people of all ages discover their connection with nature, their place in the ecosystem, and their part in a sustainable community.

Edible Corvallis Initiative (ECI)

The ECI mobilizes Corvallis to make local, fresh, healthy produce available to all. Their programs educate the community about gardening, food, and food issues.

Energize Corvallis

Energize Corvallis is dedicated to helping Corvallis become one of the most energy efficient communities in the nation.

Resource Efficiency Program

The Resource Efficiency Program (REP) provides energy efficiency services to small- to medium-sized workplaces in Corvallis, Albany, Philomath and surrounding areas. The services are provided for free to Pacific Power and NW Natural Gas commercial customers.
