Helen Berg (1932–2010) was the first female mayor of Corvallis, from 1994 until 2006. She was also the longest serving mayor of Corvallis to date.
Berg received her master's degree in statistics in 1973 from Oregon State University. In 1975, she became the director of the Survey Research Center at Oregon State and continued to work as the center's director until her retirement in 1993.
