Windsor Rd. entranceThe Sustainable Student Farm takes up 6 acres of outdoor field production and nearly 10,000 square feet of year round high tunnel production.  It was created through a grant from the Student Sustainability Committee and is supported by the University of Illinois Dining Services, the Department of Crop Sciences, and the Student Sustainability Committee.  The farm supplies university residence halls with locally grown, low-input sustainable food.  It is a living laboratory that connects students and local and statewide residents with regional, small-scale food systems.

The farm sells produce every Thursday between May and November on the north end of the Quad outside of the Student Union from 11:00am - 5:00pm.
