The Greater Denton Arts Council (GDAC) is a community organization in Denton. Its founding mission is to nurture and improve the artistic, cultural and educational quality of our community. The Council operates the Center for the Visual Arts (CVA), which houses two public art galleries, crafts rooms, a dance studio and a large multipurpose hall. GDAC has also completed a $2 million renovation of The Campus Theatre which is now home for Denton's performing arts organizations.

GDAC is funded primarily through private contributions and membership. The Arts Guild is the fundraising/volunteer/support arm of the Greater Denton Arts Council.
