Halloween is that same holiday people annually celebrate everywhere on the 31st of October.  In Denton, it is considered by many to be evil and satanic.  By others its considered to be awesome.

Its common for people to flock to the Oaklawn Block Party for the festivities, though Denton throws many parties, as it is a party town.

Notable people

Some guy dresses as Jason every year, and scares the crap out of the natives.  Only a handful of people know who he is.

Halfway to Halloween

Not only does Halloween take places in October, in Denton, but it also takes place in April, with an event called Halfway to Halloween.
