Denton experiences Natural Disasters sometimes.  They are usually pretty minor.  They can be mildly distresssing though.

We experience minor flooding and tornados occasionally pass by to say hello.

2007

• April - There was a big ol' flood.

2010

• February - We had Snowmageddon 2010.

2011

• February - Snowpocalypse 2011 lasted a good week of February
• November - There was an earthquake on November 5th at about 10:30 at night.  It hit kinda hard in Oklahoma, but we felt a little bit of it in Denton too.  It lasted a few seconds, and everyone just went wobbely for a bit.  Many people missed the earthquake however on account of it being a Saturday night, and they were drunk.
