Voertman's has been a long standing tradition in Denton, and has helped students, teachers, and local residents for many years. While it has been known that Voertman's is THE place to go for anything/everything that has to do with art supplies, they have recently also become a go-to place for all of your textbooks, school supplies and/or university apparel needs. With all of the success that Voertman's has had over the past years, they wanted to expand and help provide all of the same services to the students of Texas Woman's University.
In late November of 2014, the newest location "Voertman's - TWU" opened up just after a comic book store had vacated a storefront located at the intersection of University Dr. and Locust St. It's easy for TWU students to share with their friends where it's at by sharing that "it's located across from the Walking Path". While they don't currently provide art supplies at their newest location just yet, they are looking into hopefully being able to provide that for their customers as time goes on. As of now though, they truly are the place you want to go for help with buying/renting your textbooks as well as selling them! The manager guarantees that they give out top dollar for your books, and with a staff as friendly as theirs, you're guaranteed to have fun while doing it!
With all of the headaches that come along with financial aid, Voertman's understands that sometimes your assignments don't take as long to show up as your financial aid does. Have no fear though! Despite already having the lowest prices in town for selling textbooks and giving out the most money for buying them back, they take their customer-orientated focus even further by offering students a payment option that will allow them to receive their books at the beginning of the semester and have up to 30 days before having to pay for them! I've even heard them offer to deliver books to students directly (either on campus or even by mail). In addition to payment options, Voertman's boasts about their extensively large selection of books that are available for rent. As if these weren't enough already, they do something neat where they allow students to bring a list of the courses that they've enrolled in for an upcoming semester and will start working immediately on trying to find the most cost effective options for your textbooks needs months in advance. This helps to ensure that the student will save the most amount of money for the least amount of work, and will have their books ready for them by the first day of classes, all at no additional cost. It's free!
