UPCOMING EVENT
An "Open Masterplanning Session for the North End" led by ONE Mile / DAMI, the Detroit Sound Conservancy, and SDG Associates will be held on October 15, 2016.
- An "Open Masterplanning Session for the North End," led by ONE Mile / D.A.M.I., the Detroit Sound Conservancy (DSC), SDG Associates, and DetroitWiki will be held from 10 am to 3 pm at the DSC's Third Annual Conference presented by Lawrence Tech University (LTU) and the Detroit Center for Design and Technology (DCDT). The event will be held at DCDT at 4219 Woodward Avenue.
- The goal of the session will be to identify current cultural stakeholders and assets in Detroit's historic North End as well as to provide an opportunity to respond to issues of gentrification, ownership, and cultural value.
- DSC, ONE Mile / DAMI, and SDG Associates will lead the session. DetroitWiki will facilitate the online engagement.
