William Clements, of 29 Charles St., asked the board for the construction of a sidewalk on his street from Fairview to Hope Street. Mayor Frank Ratigan advised that his request would be given consideration but suggested that Clements advise the other residents on the block that they will be assessed one-half of the cost of the installation as permitted by law.
