Ray Bell and his wife, Elizabeth; their daughter Helen Bell married Norwegian sailor Alfred Larsen twenty years after they met when she was a tray girl at the Sageman Cottage. Alfred and Helen later bought the house at 4 Jenkins, and Alfred was living there when he died in 1988.
