Arnstein Draagen was a Norwegian seaman who cured in Saranac Lake. On March 18, 1946, Kaare Kvikne wrote to Emma Spear, "I have now been in Oslo for a week. I have seen Draagen and said good buy [sic] to him an hour ago. He looked fine and was getting along well." It is very likely that he referred to Arnstein Draagen, with whom he had cured at the Spear Cottage.
