Bartlett
This camp overlooking the dam at the bottom of Bartlett's Bay is known as the Merritt House. It was named for Connecticut representative Schuyler Merritt.'s Bay is a nearly mile-long bay at the southeast end of Upper Saranac Lake; the Saranac River starts at its eastern end. Bartlett's Carry started on the northeast corner of the bay before it was re-routed in the early 1970s. The golf links of the Saranac Club were located on its southern shore. The R. D. Douglass camp, Blythmere is located on its northern shore.
There is a long branch running north from its northern shore named Huckleberry Bay that is the site of the western end of the present Bartlett's Carry.
