Carolyn Remington

What can one say about Carolyn Lyon Remington, who died last week. ' Unquestionably she was one of the most delightful people in the metropolitan area, always cheerful, endlessly energetic, and always responsive. She was one of the most generous and supportive donors of funds in the community, but the label "philanthropist,'"' though fully deserved, doesn't fit this effervescent and elfin spirit. A writer of skill, a wonderful friend to thousands, and one of the nation's most concerned patrons of institutions for the deaf, she leaves a very special void in the community.
