SARANAC LAKE - Claire White Deredita, 82, formerly of 123 Lake St. here, died Friday, Dec. 22 1995 at the Adirondack Medical Center in Saranac Lake.
Born July 23, 1913 in Rainbow Lake, she was the daughter of Charles and Clara (Toof) White. Mrs. Deredita had been an area resident from most of her life and had been an Avon representative for many years.
She was predeceased by her husband, John S. Deredita on Nov. 24, 1974.
Survivors include a son, John Deredita of New London, Conn.; two granddaughters, Eleanor Deredita of New York City, and Anne Deredita of Middletown, Conn.; and a brother, Fredrick White of the Utica area.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery in Saranac Lake in May.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Keene Valley Neighborhood House or the Uihlein Mercy Center in care of the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home.
