This photograph was published a third time with a caption reading "Edward James Pickreign of Saranac Lake, a seaman second class in the U. S. Navy, who is training at the U. S. Naval Aviation Training Center at Corpus Christie, Tex., with the Seaman Guard. He enlisted last summer, was called to duty on Oct. 11, 1943 and received his basic training at Sampson. He is the son of Mrs. Edith Pickreign of 20 Olive street."
