Emaline Stickney Tremble

TREMBLE—At Harrietstown, N. Y., Emaline D. Tremble, widow of the late George Tremble, aged 82 years. Deceased was the daughter of Dr. and Mrs .Eliphalet Stickney and spent her early life in Jay, Dr. Stickney being the first physician who located in this section of Northern New York. For many years her husband was a lumber operator and store-keeper at Franklin Falls, and after his death she went to Harrietstown to make her home with her eldest son, Frank G. Tremble, who is the proprietor of Highland Lodge. Three other sons survive: Marlon D., of the grocery firm of Tremble & Winans, Saranac Lake; Fred T. assistant cashier of the Adirondack National Bank, Saranac Lake, and Henry B., who is with the Herring-Hall-Marvin Safe Co and resides at Syracuse. One daughter, who was the wife of G. W. Lamson, of Loon Lake, died in 1897. The funeral of Mrs. Tremble took place on Thursday, April 21st, Rev. C. P. Hogle officiating. The bearers were the four sons of the deceased.
