Emil J. Decker owned Big D in 1964. He moved to Sussex, New Jersey, after he retired in the early 1960s.

DECKERS HOST WORLD SET
The home of Mr. and Mrs. Emil J. Decker, View St., is where the current action is on the international comings and goings scene. Visiting them are grandchildren Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Friend, of Athens, Pa., with Tako Shibata, of Kyoto, Japan, who is visiting the Friends through the auspices at Rotary International.
The Friends are also relatives of the John P. Deckers and the William L. Deckers, of Park Avenue.
Miss Barbara Friend, a junior at the College of William and Mary, in Virginia, is here with her parents and has just returned from a year in Kumamoto, Japan, where she has been studying as an exchange student, also through Rotary.
The William Deckers will hold a farewell party today in honor of Barbara's sister Kathleen who will leave Aug. 18th for Escort, South Africa, again under the Rotary banner.
