ORMOND BEACH, FLA. - Ernest Edward Littlewood, 80, died Friday evening, April 10, at his home is Ormond Beach.
Mr. Littlewood had been a resident of the Saranac Lake area for most of his life, before moving to Florida in 1973. He had been the comptroller for Paul Smith's College for 20 years.
Mr. Littlewood was also active in area organizations, including the Saranac Lake Elks Lodge No. 1508, the Saranac Lake Rotary Club and American Legion Post 447.
He was born in Sheffield, England, on June 12, 1900, the son of Edward and Alice Littlewood.
Survivors include his wife, Josephine, of Florida; a son, John F. Littlewood of San Jose, Calif.; and a sister, Doris Lippert of Syracuse.
The funeral service was held yesterday in Ormondo Beach. Arrangement were with the Haigh-Black Funeral Home there.
Interment will be in St. Bernard's Cemetery in Saranac Lake.
