Edwin E. Myatt was a World War II veteran.  He was a son of William and Lillian McKinney Myatt.

ERWIN E. MYATT DIES SUDDENLY

Erwin E. Myatt died suddenly at his home at 10:30 o'clock last night while visiting his mother, Mrs. Lillian McKinney M. Fuller, of 11 Mccomb st.

Funeral services are tentatively set for Monday, but arrangements are incomplete at this time. His body will repose at the chapel of A. Fortune and Co. tomorrow afternoon.

Mr. Myatt was born on October 23, 1902, in Chateugay, the son of William and Lillian McKinney Myatt. A plumber by trade, he had been employed for the last 30 years by Phil Sullivan, of Saranac Lake.

Mr. Myatt was a member of the Sea Bees from April 29, 1942 to July 21, 1945, and had overseas duty. He was an honor roll member of the Saranac Lake Fire Department, a member of the Masons, Whiteface Mt. Lodge 789, and a member of the Methodist Church.

Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, the former Evelyn Morehouse and son, William, who reside at 4 Circle st.; also two brothers, Howard, of Saranac Lake, and Herman, of Phoenix, N. Y.

All firemen are asked to meet at 7:15 o'clock tonight at the Fire House to attend in a body memorial services for Mr. Myatt. There will be Masonic services at 8 p.m. Sunday.
