Francis Seymour was a World War II veteran. He was a son of Mrs. Victoria Seymour of 112 Lake Flower Avenue.

SARANAC LAKE — Francis P. Seymour, 73, of Saranac Lake, died Friday, August 20, 1993, at the Adirondack Medical Center.
Born September 3, 1919, he was the son of Frank and Victoria (Charland) Seymour.
Mr. Seymour married the former Doris Cvitanovich in Saranac Lake on September 6, 1947, at St. Bernard's Church.
A World War II veteran, Mr. Seymour was the head driver for the Saranac Lake Fire Department, retiring in 1985 after forty years of service. He also was a member of the Saranac Lake Fish and Game Club, and was a licensed gun dealer and avid hunter. He was a life member of the PFC Robert A. LaFountain No. 179 DAV.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Kevin, of Vermontville; a daughter, Francine, of Saranac Lake; a sister, Mrs. George (Bernadette) Durett of Saranac Lake; two sisters-in-law, Dorothy Seymour of Plattsburgh and Helen Seymour of Saranac Lake; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held at the Fortune-Keough Funeral Home from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today, with a bible vigil held at 8 p.m. A veteran's service will be held today at 7:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 11:15 a.m. with the Rev. Timothy Soucy officiating. Interment will be in St. Bernard's Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
Memorial donations may be made to High Peaks Hospice or to the Saranac Lake Rescue Squad.
