Frank L. Fisher died on May 23d. For several years he has made his home at Saranac Lake, especially during the summer and partly during the winter. Last summer his health was so much improved that he returned to business in New York city, but the confinement was not good for him, and in the latter part of the winter, he came back to his pleasant home on Lake Colby, but failed steadily until the end came on the night of the 23d inst. Mr. Fisher was much esteemed for his kindness and liberality and many other noble qualities. The M. E. church in this place has especial reason to honor his memory, as he has been her generous friend in financial matters, and a regular attendant when he was in town and his health permitted. Mrs. Fisher, who stood so nobly by her husband through the years of his ill health and sickness, has the sympathy of the people in her bereavement. She took her deceased husband to their old home for burial.
