Frank Lezak, Sr., 71, Dies At Ogdensburg
Frank Lezak, Sr., aged 71, died Monday afternoon at Ogdensburg, where he had been a patient for four months.
The body is reposing at the Fortune Funeral Home, where there will be a Rosary service tomorrow night at 8 o'clock. A funeral Mass will be held at 9:30 a.m. in St. Bernard's Church on Friday, and interment will be in Pine Ridge Cemetery in the Spring.
Mr. Lezak was born on September 7, 1886 in New York City, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Maximilian Lezak. He came to Saranac Lake for his health in 1913, and in 1914 opened the grocery store at Ray Brook, which he had operated ever since. His wife, the former Augusta Kulwak, died in 1957.
He is survived by a son, Frank John of Ray Brook, and a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy E. Oliver, of Tilton, N.H.
